The future of cybersecurity is looking bright with AI being introduced to more security systems.

Why current cyber-crimes are at an all-time high; with AI the risk is lowered and security is increased.

Many organizations face dangers of cybersecurity issues that can cause a threat towards information systems and data. In society today, it’s important to have properly implemented security when it comes to technology because cybersecurity problems are an incredibly real threat to all companies. Cyber-crimes in financial services, as well as healthcare, have dramatically risen since the availability of technology is so easily accessible in our society today. There are many points of vulnerability in security systems such as account takeovers, identity theft, counterfeiting, phishing e-mails, and recently, very popular is mobile banking exploitation. This is largely due to more mobile accessibility through personal use, business, and government networks.

The future of cybersecurity needs to be readily available and come with more innovation since cyber threats are mounting and becoming more complex. This is why the future of cybersecurity of AI looks incredibly positive and strong. Implementing more AI cybersecurity can become a huge turning point in cybersecurity since AI can provide increasing amounts of machine learning, and application-based algorithms to provide accurate risk management and threat detection on systems.

Since cloud computing has also changed the entire financial industry, cyber-crimes towards the cloud have also increased dramatically. Being able to provide security for the cloud is very important since there is so much data at risk of a cyber-attack. AI is critical towards cloud computing because it can adapt through experience and be able to use machine learning to find patterns of recognition in order to find security vulnerabilities. The future of cybersecurity innovation is going to focus largely on ML (Machine learning) and AI drastically.

Since the rates of cybersecurity crimes have been rising ever since access to data has increased, there must be better security solutions in order to provide the greatest results in stopping these attacks from being developed. Without AI in cybersecurity, there would be a huge problem in containing and finding the root causes of cyber-crimes in financial services and many other industries. When it comes to cybersecurity vs AI, artificial intelligence is going to be the primal player that can create change within security solutions. The future of cybersecurity in 2018 needs to have a huge focus on implementing more AI solutions to see the best results.

“The way to secure our data, the way to prevent data theft, is more automation,” according to Oracle CTO and Chairman Larry Ellison. If a company as big as Oracle that focuses on integrated cloud applications and platform services backs automation, more companies need to implement more AI applications in their security.

One big reason as to why AI is so important to implement in cybersecurity solutions is because of speed and detection of anomalous activity. In order to bring new innovation to the fast-moving technology, we need to progress our capability to improve and fix security systems in all industries. AI is going to have a huge role in the cybersecurity realm moving forward and is in store for huge improvements.
