As social media vendors attempt to turn social media platforms into larger suites of tools, Synthesio CMO, Chris Vitti, believes his company complements Ipsos, a primarily professional services firm.
Video automation company, Videolicious, announced the appointment of a new chief marketing officer. Ashley Deibert, who is widely recognized in the marketing industry, will work to position Videolicious for mass adoption by organizations.
Conversational artificial intelligence company, Conversica, has raised $31 million in a series C funding round. The series C funding round, led by Providence Strategic Growth Capital Partners, among others, brings the total invested capital in Conversica to $87 million.
National Cinemedia is releasing what it says is the first movie theater AR game for a new movie release. Their AR game will be available through December 6th in 1,700 theaters across the country representing more than 21,000 screens.

ConversionPoint to Purchase Inuvo
An AI provider for brands, Inuvo, announced that it will be acquired by an e-commerce tech company, ConversionPoint Technologies. ConversionPoint CEO said in a statement, “…We believe that together our end-to-end, AI-powered, eCommerce platform can offer those capabilities to the online retail channel and the direct channel that the market has been actively searching for.”
AVEVA Has a New CMO
Engineering and industrial software company, AVEVA, has announced that a new Chief Marketing Officer will join its team. With over 20 years of IT industry experience, Lisa Johnston, will be will responsible for accelerating AVEVA’s marketing and brand efforts. She will also work to ensure a digital transformation boost for the company.
Aiden.AI Raises $1.6 Million
AI analytics startup, Aiden.AI, announced that it has raised $1.6 million in a seed funding round to help fuel the company’s growth as it develops and launches the first AI-powered marketing analyst. The round was led by Partech and one of its partners will join Aiden.AI’s Board of Directors.
