OpenX is one of the world’s leading advertising technology supplier. The company has announced the availability of the company’s video header bidding solution which is built for Prebid technology. This achievement highlights the company strategy of offering publishers with various options to monetize their video inventory in an open and qualitative marketplace.
The latest video header bidding solution gives direct access to the partners to the company’s premium video exchange in the free and open-source Prebid.org management solution. This simplified setup unlocks the scale of the OpenX open exchange and private marketplaces which will help generate considerably large yield because of increased competition. The beta testing partners for Prebid Video noticed an average revenue increase of 55 percent and it was also noticed that the OpenX solution provide CPM’s more than 35 percent than its competitors.
The company has witnessed two consecutive quarters of triple digit growth in video and the revenue increased by 17 percent every month approximately. The ratio of number of publishers who leveraged OpenX for video has increased by 88 percent.
Open X also made an announcement that it will be chairing the organizations new video task force whose main focus would be on making video completely supported across all Prebid projects viz Prebid.js, Prebid Mobile, and Prebid Server. OpenX has created an open and inclusive approach to video and it provides publishers with multiple options to meet their needs.
