A global leader in technology intelligence and automation solution provider, Snow Software, announced the expansion of its executive leadership team and the appointment of a new CEO.
The new Chief Executive Officer of Snow Software is Vishal Rao. Prior to being promoted, Rao served as the President and Chief Operating Officer at Snow. He joined the company’s Board of Directors in 2016. In his tenure as President & COO, the company hit its $100 million growth milestone in revenue and made several executive appointments along the way.
Before joining Snow, Rao served as Board Observer at SnapLogic, Senior Vice President of Field Operations at Cloudera, Vice President of Worldwide Field Sales at Splunk and Worldwide Director of Global Accounts at BMC Software. Rao succeeds Snow Software’s Founder and former CEO Axel Kling.
The other additions made to the Snow Software executive leadership team are:
Rachel Mooney, Chief People & Culture Officer
In her role as the Chief People & Culture Officer, Rachel will be charged with global HR strategy and operations, enhancing and aligning employee experiences throughout the company. This will also enable the company to enhance its employer branding, allowing it to attract, retain and develop the best talent.
Prior to joining Snow, Mooney worked at Vodafone, where she led strategic and operational HR for group corporate functions and global shared services. Mooney has also led the organizational culture for Google across EMEA, as well as its human resources function in Ireland. In her tenure at Snow, she will be based out of the U.K.
James Denena, Chief Financial Officer
Denena has an extensive financial and business development experience and a proven track record for driving growth within public global organizations. Prior to joining Snow, Denena served as the Vice President of Global Finance & Corporate Development for PROS. He also served for more than a decade at Applied Materials in various senior roles. He will be based in the United States.

In the last year, Snow Software added many key executives including Ken Schock as Chief Revenue Officer, Sanjay Castelino as Chief Marketing Officer and Alastair Pooley as Chief Information Officer.
