Former Verizon Go90 GM, Chip Canter, Heads to Massive Interactive

There has been a shuffle at the executive level in Verizon Go90 after its General Manager, Chip Canter, left and joined Massive Interactive. Massive Interactive is a U.K based company that provides user-interface and personalization services to some of the top video providers.
Canter is the global Chief Revenue Officer of Massive, based in New York. He leads the sales, business development, and marketing growth strategy across the globe. The company stated that hiring of Canter is part of its U.S expansion strategy.
Canter left Verizon Go90 a year ago after joining the telecom company in March 2016 as General Manager of Go90 and content and distribution of Verizon Digital Entertainment. Before Verizon, Canter worked at NBCU for ten years, with his recent assignment with NBCU as SVP of Product and Business Development.
Speaking on this occasion, CEO of Massive, Ron Downey, said, “Few people understand our market landscape and technology environment like Chip does. He has dealt with the pressures faced by OTT businesses and has firsthand experience working with global media companies.”
Clients of Massive Interactive include some of the leading names such as AT&T, BBC, Sky, Telecine, and many more. Canter holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and a master’s in communications from Northwestern University, and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.
