Impact Purchases Mediarails

The natively integrated platform of fraud protection and marketing analytics, Impact, has announced the acquisition of CRM and marketing automation platform, Mediarails. The new acquisition will add full CRM capabilities along with marketing automation functions to Impact’s suite of services.

HYP3R Raises $17 Million in Funding

Location-based marketing innovator, HYP3R (pronounced HYPER) has announced the completion of its Series A financing round of $17 million. Thayer Ventures, Silicon Valley Bank and other investors participated in this funding round. Earlier in the year, HYP3R was named one of the most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.

Hootsuite Gets New Honor from Forbes

Social media management leader, Hootsuite, was recently recognized by Forbes Magazine as one of the top private cloud companies in its Cloud 100. Hootsuite is trusted by over 16 million customers and employees at 80% of Fortune 1000 companies. It is their second consecutive appearance on this list.

Zena Burns Joins Executive Team at Futuri Media

Futuri Media has made a new addition to its executive leadership team with the appointment of Zena Burns as its new SVP of Strategic Marketing and Brand Development. In this new role, Burns will be responsible for leading high-level marketing initiatives the Futuri and guiding its investments in communications and marketing.

 

LeanData Reveals Complete Ops-Stars 2018 Conference Agenda

Lead-to-account matching leader, LeanData is hosting a major conference focused on giving sales and marketing professionals the tools they need to grow revenue for their organizations. Ops-Stars 2018 will take place from September 25-26 in San Francisco and boasts over 40 sessions, over 25 leading B2B sponsors, and a gathering of over 1400 sales, marketing, and revenue operations executives.

Drips Raises Seed Funding

Mobile-marketing firm based in Akron, Ohio, Drips, has announced the completion of its first external seed funding round as well as some new additions to its leadership team. The seed funding round will help the company to aim for strong future growth and get the right people around the table to position it for more success.

iHeartMedia Acquires Stuff Media

Leading audio company, iHeartMedia, will now increase its lead to the #1 commercial podcaster globally and the #2 podcaster overall with the acquisition of Stuff Media, the leading for-profit publisher of entertainment and information-based podcast content. The new acquisition will help iHeartMedia leverage the original content and programming of Stuff Media as well as make use of its highly experienced podcasting management team.

Is Adobe in Negotiations to Purchase Marketo?

According to a report produced by Reuters citing unnamed sources, Adobe could be in negotiations to purchase Marketo. If this comes to fruition, it will extend the company’s marketing automation offerings. Marketo is a platform used by major B2B marketers including Citrix and Charles Schwab to power marketing automation and engage customers and prospects.

Valtech Appoints New Managing Director

Global digital agency, Valtech, has announced the addition of Marc Blumberg to serve as the managing director of the company’s Dallas, Texas office. Blumberg has over 20 years of agency experience and brings a good deal of insight to the role. He will be tasked with building a team that drives transformational growth for its clients around the world.
