Lifetime Appoints New VP of Programming and Development

Lifetime announced the appointment of Nicole Vogel as their new Vice President of Programming and Development.

Nicole joins Lifetime from WE tv, an AMC Network, where she developed and executive produced Extreme Love as well as Love After Lockup, which Nielsen reported as the fastest-growing new cable series of 2018.

Prior to WE tv, she served as senior director of development at Optomen Productions, and as manager of talent development and casting for Discovery Networks, where she worked across Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, Investigation Discovery, Destination America, and Discovery Fit&Health. She began her career at Headline Media Management, a boutique talent representation firm specializing in news, hosting, experts, and sports.

In her new role, she will be based in New York City, where she will work with production companies, agencies, and potential talent to find, develop, and produce new unscripted formats and docuseries, and will report to unit Senior Vice President Brie Miranda Bryant.
