Carrie joins SendGrid from Box where she was a Senior Vice President and the company’s first Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to working at Box, She was the Vice President of Marketing for IBM’s Cloud Data Services and Analytics Software Division where she oversaw the team responsible for the growth of their SaaS offerings. Carrie has also spent over 15 years at Dell and she also sits on the executive advisory board for Marketo.
Carrie holds a BS in Communications from Texas Christian University. She brings to SendGrid her deep knowledge and years of experience in digital marketing and best practices for utilizing technology and data to drive customer engagement and business growth.

In her new role as Chief Marketing Officer, Carrie will be responsible for elevating SendGrid’s brand, driving demand for its products and services and leading its overall Marketing operations. She will be overseeing the company’s corporate and product marketing, demand generation, corporate communications divisions, and SendGrid’s community development team.
