NCC Media recently announced that Bob Ivins will serve as the company’s new Chief Data Officer. Ivins will report directly to President and CEO, Nicolle Pangis.
NCC Media is known as one of the only media and technology companies that represents video programming providers in every market throughout the United States. The company is owned by Comcast, Charter, and Cox.
Ivins has shown prolific success in the media and data industries and is highly regarded for his expertise in the development of data-driven advertising over the past several decades. Before joining NCC, he held executive positions at comScore, Mindshare, Comcast, Yahoo and Nielsen.
At Mindshare, he served as Chief Data Officer and led the company in putting data front and center, linking real-time insights to adaptive marketing. At comScore, Ivins was SVP/MD of the Europe region where he led the company’s operations from launch to pan-European leader in web measurement and web analytics.
He is transitioning to NCC Media from Rakuten-owned digital commerce company Slice Technologies, where he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager. During his time at Slice, Ivins distinguished himself as an expert in researching tools that measure the effectiveness of online advertising.
Nicolle Pangis, president and CEO of NCC Media, said, “Bob has tremendous experience developing large-scale, data driven technology platforms that improve the media experience for brands and consumers alike. We look forward to his leadership in partnering with advertisers to maximize the effectiveness of their linear and addressable TV buys through the growing slate of advanced media offerings on our platform.”
