With automated social variations, MeetEdgar aims to help small-to-midsize businesses write, schedule, and post their messages to social media platforms.
Social post scheduler MeetEdgar now offers a social media publishing application that allows SMBs (Small to Medium Businesses) write, schedule and publish their social marketing onto their social handles.
The Austin, Texas based company announced this week that the new feature – dubbed Auto-Variations – will automatically pull the text from the relevant articles and provide content that can generate up to 4 additional posts. The company said that while some enterprise-focused social tools offer a similar capability, to its knowledge this is the first time it’s available for SMBs.
With the help of this new feature, marketers can write several variations of social posts for easy scheduling and re-posting from their MeetEdgar library. While you can still edit and write your own content for publishing, these new features allow you to have access to automation and AI technology, which was primarily taken advantage of by mid-marketing and established brands.
“Built to help busy marketers and business owners save time by automating the tedious task of creating and publishing fresh content online, all users will have access to this new feature immediately. When we surveyed our customers about how they were spending their time during the workday, an overwhelming number told us they didn’t have enough time in the day to write all of the posts to keep their social media accounts looking up-to-date,” said Lail Brown MeetEdgar’s Head of Product. “We originally created the manual Variations feature to allow our customers to create different posts for the same article or blog post, to ensure their updates weren’t getting repetitive or too automated,” Brown added. “Paired with our smart publisher, creating an automated way to write and inspire content was the clear next step for MeetEdgar.”
The Auto-Variations feature is being made available to all users immediately. The application also provides analytics per variation used in order to help marketers identify which posts and messages are resonating most with their audiences. Currently, you can create, schedule and publish posts for your Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn handles. The plugin for Instagram and Pinterest will be made available soon.
