Former Verizon Executive Marni Walden Heads to 4C Board

Marni Walden, former Executive Vice President and President of Global Media and New Business at Verizon Communications has been hired by 4C, a data science and marketing technology company on the company’s Board of Directors.

At Verizon, Walden reported directly to the Chairman and was the fifth officer in the corporation. She was in charge of the corporate strategy team that included acquisitions and investments through Verizon Ventures, which included the acquisitions of AOL and Yahoo, which eventually turned into Verizon’s media and advertising business Oath.

As the Chief Marketing Officer, Walden was responsible for all marketing initiatives, as well as management and development of mobile products and services. Walden also serves as the Chairwoman of Globetouch, a leader in global connectivity services for the connected car and the Internet of Things. (IoT).

Walden’s appointment to the board comes at a time when 4C launches its latest platform, Scope—the first ever self-service technology which brings cross-channel audience insights, media performance, and campaign activation.
