Gruters will play an important role in boosting the experience of advertising partners and pushing business development initiatives for Digital Trends.

Digital Trends has recently announced that Bob Gruters, now a Facebook executive will be joining them as their new Chief Revenue Officer. In his previous assignments before Facebook, Gruters has worked with some of the leading names in the media industry such as Viacom, Conde Nast, Univision and REVOLT Media, during his career that spanned more than 25 years.

The decision of Gruters to leave Facebook and join Digital Trends is evidence to the growth that Digital Trends has and the position it holds in the market. Inc Magazine had recently ranked Digital Trends as the country’s fastest –growing private organizations, on their Inc.5000 list, consecutively for the third year. I’ve been overseeing the industry’s top publishers for the last 4 years as one of Facebook’s Entertainment focus areas, and I’ve been so impressed by DT and all they’ve done already.” Essentially for Gruters, this move to Digital Trends brings him back to publishing and media industry.
