Ctrip Launches Partnership with Workday’s Human Capital Management Platform

China’s largest provider of overseas travel, Ctrip Group, is on a mission to deepen its relationships with global partners through the development of its Skyscanner and Trip.com platforms. In lieu of this mission, Ctrip announced that it is partnering with enterprise cloud applications provider Workday.

Through this partnership, Ctrip plans to utilize Workday’s Human Capital Management (HCM) platform across all 17 overseas offices and to support the company’s global expansion plans.

The application of Workday’s HCM system employee management will have all Ctrip employees on a single platform, allowing the company to improve HR operational efficiency. The platform’s support for multiple languages and built-in analytics tools will help to engage better with employees around the world and provide support in career development. Other built-in applications on the platform include support for staffing, talent management, performance management, learning and much more.

“As a leader in the travel sector where globalization is at the core of driving our business, attracting global talent, enhancing cultural awareness and inclusion, and ensuring legal compliance have always been our top priority.  Ctrip aims to build a robust HR operation model that can be adapted quickly as we expand globally. Workday HCM offers a comprehensive HR solution with local language support, giving us peace of mind as we expand into new markets,” said Colin Ke, Vice President of Human Resources at Ctrip.

Ke went on to say that, “The single technology platform that Workday HCM offers will enable us to scale and achieve greater efficiency in talent management. The built-in analytics capability and tools are also crucial for us to better engage our employees globally as we partner with them to develop their careers.”

Donald T. Sullivan, general manager, Workday Hong Kong, and North Asia, said: “Workday is committed to supporting emerging technology companies as they grow and thrive globally. Teamwork is a key factor in enabling businesses to scale and succeed and through the Workday HCM system, Ctrip teams can now work as one team and collaborate seamlessly across different markets.
