Former top publishing executive Mary Murcko has joined digital network Fullscreen as SVP of partnership and income. Murcko will regulate income and partnerships over the organization’s different branded digital content offerings, as indicated by Variety — as for its maker list, touring division Fullscreen Live, Rooster Teeth, and Fullscreen’s claimed and-worked properties. Murcko, situated in New York City, reports to Pete Stein, GM of Fullscreen.
“Mary’s strong background in digital media and marketing planning will be a huge asset to Fullscreen as we accelerate our mission to help brands create authentic relationships with consumers,” Stein said in announcing her hire.
Murcko joins the organization as it twice downed on marked substance and advertisement bolstered video and in the wake of pulling the attachment of its membership VOD benefit in late 2017. Her arrangement likewise comes after a few official changes at Fullscreen. Chief operating officer, Andy Forssell, moved over to wind up COO of Otter Media (Fullscreen’s parent organization, which is a joint partnership of AT&T and Chernin Group), alongside CMO Alan Beard. Michael Wann, who had once in the past filled in as Fullscreen’s chief revenue officer, left in 2016 and is currently CEO of Mobcrush.
Murcko was most recently senior VP, head of brand partnerships and deals for Ziff Davis’ What to Expect computerized brand. Prior to that, she was chief income officer/distributer of Condé Nast’s Self. Prior to joining Condé Nast, she was the president of national sales at Gannett Co., crossing every working division of Gannett including Gannett Digital, USA Today, communicate, and print.
Earlier in her career, Murcko was executive VP and group publisher at Rodale, regulating Men’s Health, Women’s Health, Prevention, and Runner’s World. She also worked W and Elegant Bride and as GM/group publisher for Hachette Filipacchi Post in Bangkok, Thailand.
