Marketo, the leading provider of marketing software and solutions announced recently the hiring of Sarah Kennedy as the company’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). In addition to that, the company also promoted Matthew Zilli to the role of Chief Customer Officer (CCO).

Sarah Kennedy is a globally recognized thought leader on emerging technology, loyalty, and customer experience. Kennedy brings to Marketo nearly 15 years of technology marketing expertise. Before joining Marketo, she was Vice President of Global Marketing and the Managing Director of Digital Experience at the Sabre Corporation. In this position, she served as head of Sabre’s in-house interactive agency and as CMO of Hospitality Solutions, the company’s fastest-growing business unit. Over the course of three years, she nearly quadrupled the marketing team’s return on investment and drove double-digit revenue growth.

Matthew Zilli has been with Marketo for more than four years. Before being promoted to the post of CCO, he was interim CMO and Group Vice President of Product and Solution Marketing. Under Zilli, the marketing team launched numerous updates and enhancements to Marketo’s Engagement Platform, including ContentAI, the company’s artificial intelligence-driven predictive content solution.
