Bud Light is getting back to the basics with a new creative campaign to showcase what is inside their famous light lager. The TV spots will highlight Bud Light’s 35-year brewing history; it will also shed light upon its four essential ingredients, brewing process, and the company’s mission statement of providing tasty quality beer.
Creating quality light lager has become a regular task for Bud Light, and the company is proud of its 35-year heritage within the industry. Their new campaign highlights the use of four key ingredients: barley, rice, water, and hops. The 30-day brewing process in which Bud Light creates its famous light lager requires professional taste testers to sample the product more than 100 times before applying the stamp of approval. This reiterates the importance of their promise for a good tasting beer that is worthy of having the Bud Light label. Vice President of Marketing, Andy Goeler, expressed the passion behind Bud Light’s products and their rich history with the following statement:
“There’s nowhere to hide imperfection when you’re brewing a light lager. Beer drinkers trust that every time they reach for a Bud Light, they’re going to get the crisp, refreshing taste they know and love…Friendship is in the framework of our brand, you might even say that we’re famous for it. This next chapter of the ‘Famous Among Friends’ campaign will focus on the beer, but to us, product quality and friendship go hand-in-hand. Your best friends are the people you can always count on. The same goes for Bud Light. We are the beer you can always count on.”
To show the public Bud Light’s commitment to quality, the company is launching 2 new TV ads titled “Bottle” and “Complex.” The ads will run through the brewing process, as well as the use of the four crucial ingredients, that make the light lager what it is today.
Bud Light’s success over the years has shown its worth, and the company wants to promote that quality service with its new advertising campaign.
