Samsung has finally released a promotional video for its highly anticipated Galaxy Note 8 ahead of its rumored August 23 launch. The release date remains unclear, but many individuals are keeping an eye out for what may be one of Samsung’s most advanced smartphones.
Samsung’s competition with Apple has caused the company to work diligently to create a product that can keep up the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus, and the iPhone 8.
The Galaxy Note 8 has a 6.4-inch display that is soon to be the largest Samsung screen size for a premium smartphone. The company has stressed the accessibility and addition of its style which will allow the phone to be “taller, wider and more angular.” The phone will also have an improved iris scanner with a fingerprint scanner embedded into the screen. Although there have been different AI programs across the smartphone spectrum, the Galaxy Note 8 will have a built-in ‘Bixby’ virtual assistant that will serve the user. It will also have an impressive 6 GB RAM and a Samsung Exynos 8895 CPU. Additionally, it will be programmed to have the Android 7.0 Nougat as its official software. (The software will be available for upgrade when the new Android O update is released for Android phones).
The phone will also have plenty of room for applications, photos, and other large files with its 64GB built-in storage and microSD expansion. It will come in the following color schemes: Midnight Black, Maple Gold, Orchid Grey and Deep Sea Blue.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be a revolutionary phone with a hefty price tag. Although there hasn’t been an official announcement regarding its price, it is projected to break the $1,000 mark to become Samsung’s most expensive smartphone and pave the way for their future market.
