Nearly 80 countries getting Amazon Echo

Amazon is launching Amazon Echo, the streaming service from the E-Commerce giant, in 28 new countries making the total count to 80 worldwide. The music service, known as Amazon Music Unlimited, will provide over 40 million songs and a bundle of playlists and stations.

The new countries where Echo will be released include Belgium, Bulgaria, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Iceland, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Sweden and several others.

Echo can respond to commands like, “Alexa, play music,” which will enable devices with voice assistant capabilities. Alexa has the ability to create personalized stations, pulled out from data from machine learning. This will be played on Amazon Music which will be installed on desktops, iOS and Android phones, and Fire TV.

The service of Amazon Music Unlimited has three plan options: Echo Plan, which allows users to listen to music only on a single device; the Individual Plan, which allows users to add a maximum of 10 devices; and lastly the Family Plan, which allows six people within a household to stream music at the same time. Amazon Echo has been reaching out to additional countries this year, including India and Canada.
