Facebook’s future appears be in TV, as the organization is providing video content makers the instruments to monetize that future. Presently, the web-based social networking company is promoting the Facebook Creator App, a “one stop shop” to create original videos live with select visuals. They’ve also added the ability to track onlookers’ reactions with their “insights” feature for analytics. The new application is accessible on iOS for anyone with a Facebook profile, with Android coming soon.
“To help creators grow on Facebook, it’s important that we continue building tools for them to be successful, which is why I’m really excited about two new updates launching today for creators,” Facebook Vice President of Product Fidji Simo said on her Facebook page. “We’re rolling out a new app that will be a one-stop shop for creators of all sizes, which will let creators easily make original videos, go live with exclusive features, and connect with their community on Facebook. We’ve also launched a new website dedicated to providing creators with inspiration, support, and education.”
Facebook wants to get users to move their video recordings to its platform. It presented a center point for unique shows called Watch in August, and added sponsored video content that plays during livestreams earlier this year. In any case, Facebook struggles to get advertisements into all its recordings like its rival YouTube. The current announcement didn’t explained how clients can profit from their videos.
The second huge draw is correspondence. The application has brought together messages for Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram, so you don’t need to ricochet between applications to respond. The application doesn’t appear to cover every aspect within Facebook’s services, however it sounds like a handy start.
