After causing a major imbalance in the road system thanks to his futuristic car, Elon Musk is also set for an astronomical innovation. As a part of his SpaceX initiative, the Tesla Inc. CEO has promised to set up a colony on planet Mars, and it looks like he is on course to accomplish this feat.
Earlier this week the visionary entrepreneur shared the first SpaceX astronaut suit on Instagram. Musk has promised that he will share more pictures and further insights into this recent development. He further commented that the suit shown in the picture is a fully functional product and has been tested successfully in double vacuum pressure.
Speaking on the occasion, Musk was extremely satisfied with the final product. He further disclosed that the primary purpose of this initiative was to have a perfect combination of aesthetics and functionality, which is a tough thing to ask for.
Fans of Musk will be able to relate to this new suit that has been revealed, as it resembles the infamous leaked SpaceX designs that were in the news more than a year ago. There were serious doubts on whether these images were authentic or just a spoof, but the latest revelation by the big man himself substantiates the photos.
Musk’s SpaceX program is in a progressive mode, as this image came just days after SpaceX launched its first rocket from Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on Aug. 4.
