Zuman, the one stop solution for HR, payroll and benefits administration recently announced the appointment of Cary Rosenzweig as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Effective immediately, Rosenzweig will regulate all parts of Zuman’s revenue, marketing and sales teams.
Rosenzweig has an impressive track record of driving growth and profitability as a general manager and a marketer. He began his marketing career at Procter and Gamble, where he was a brand manager for Tide. Later he went on to hold senior marketing roles at Clorox before working as Chief Marketing Officer at mySimon.com and Autoweb.com. He has worked as CEO of IMVU, birthplace of the lean startup movement, where he earned the distinction of the “Most Admired CEO” in the emerging growth category by the San Francisco Business Times.
Rosenzweig holds a B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
“When we sought a new CRO, we didn’t have to look far. Cary has been on our Board of Directors for over four years, and he will continue in that role too,” said Doug Devlin, CEO at Zuman. “Cary brings deep operational experience as a marketer, general manager and small business expert. He has proven he can lead growth companies small and large. We’re thrilled to have Cary lead Zuman’s revenue expansion efforts given his knowledge of the industry and our recent announcement of BenXsys™, Zuman’s healthcare accounting solution for employers and Association Health Plans.”
Zuman was founded in 2012 with a simple mission: “to transform the people operations experience and help companies grow their employees.” The company currently provides services to thousands of high growth companies throughout the United States.
“Zuman offers its clients best-in-class service, aided by proprietary software. I’ve been an investor in and board director at Zuman since 2013, so I know the company well,” Rosenzweig said. “I’m inspired by the talent at the company and its awesome, pro-client culture, and I’m thrilled to be joining Zuman to help drive profitable growth. Most recently, I’ve been mentoring and coaching startup CEOs as a solo consultant, and I realized that I missed the camaraderie of a great team. I love the opportunity of this operational role.”
