Experienced B2B marketer to drive the next stage of company growth and market strategy at Clari.
Clari announced the selection of Cornelius Willis as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer.
The leading provider of artificial intelligence solutions for sales teams will gain 25 years of industry experience as Willis joins the company at a time of momentum in the market and company growth. Willis will be responsible for developing and driving an integrated marketing strategy which included increasing awareness about the company’s brand and telling the company’s story in an engaging way.

Clari recently completed its series C funding. The funding round was led by Tenaya Capital with participation from other investors including Blue Cloud Ventures, Bain Capital Ventures, and Thomvest Ventures. The new infusion of funds will help Willis to scale the company’s marketing and sales efforts as well as accelerate Clari’s product innovation which use AI-platforms to drive better sales execution and forecasting for Hewlett Packard, Box, Symantec, and many other companies.
Before joining Clari, Willis spent over 10 years at Microsoft and an additional 10 years working with startups in many roles including as a founder, an employee, an angel investor, and a consultant. Most recently, he worked with Google’s Cloud Platform and led both strategic communications and product marketing. While there, he and his team were responsible for launching a good number of products including TensorFlow and Cloud Vision API.
In addition to their product launches, because of Willis and his team’s efforts, Google was listed in two of Gartner leader’s quadrant as a leader in Storage and Infrastructure as a Service.
