Clari announced the selection of Cornelius Willis as the company’s new Chief Marketing Officer.

Willis will be responsible for developing and driving an integrated marketing strategy which included increasing awareness about the company’s brand and telling the company’s story in an engaging way.

CEO of Clari, Andy Byrne, said about the new hire of Cornelius Willis, “Clari’s growth is accelerating, with heads of sales starting to understand the critical value of predictive analytics in calling and making their number. As we look at the opportunity ahead for the company and our customers, we’re really just getting started. To help drive the next phase of our growth, we were looking for a marketing leader with strategic and operational experience and a proven track record of establishing brands in fast growing markets. Cornelius’ expertise across marketing disciplines is an incredible asset, and we’re excited for him to execute on our mission to make selling easier and more predictable.”

Clari recently completed its series C funding. Most recently, he worked with Google’s Cloud Platform and led both strategic communications and product marketing. In addition to their product launches, because of Willis and his team’s efforts, Google was listed in two of Gartner leader’s quadrant as a leader in Storage and Infrastructure as a Service.

Willis said about the company’s growth and his new role, “Sales is the most critical business process in every company, and Clari customers love the product because it makes selling more effective and just plain easier.
